At Keystone, we believe strongly in the power of Music Therapy, and would love to have the opportunity to demonstrate the benefits Music Therapy can have for your residents, staff, public profile and potentially your CQC inspection results. In therapy we practice a person-centred approach and when it comes to working with care organisations we also offer an individualised approach. We want to work with you to make Music Therapy work for your organisation and do not have a ‘one size fits all’ mentally. Factors including, the individual needs of residents, specialist care currently provided, dementia care model utilised, care home size and budget are all taken into consideration, as are the goals and outcomes desired by the care organisation leaders. After an initial information gathering meeting, we then present individualised service options that would best suit your organisation. Below is an overview of what may be included.
Music Therapy groups and one-on-one sessions at care homes, hospitals, schools and private homes are available. Time on site can vary from half a day to multiple days depending on the needs of your organisation. Pricing can vary depending on the number of people attending therapy sessions, the amount of sites being worked at, the location of sites and the amount of time spent on site. Prices are usually based around an hourly rate of between £40 and £50 per hour.
As this is a general guide to pricing, please get in touch with Arash, the Managing Director, to arrange a quote specifically for your organisation.
Music Workshops & Reflective Practice Sessions for team building and staff development. At Keystone we believe that a happy and thriving work force is key to delivering a high quality of care in any area of healthcare. We have great respect from everyone who works in care and understand both the rewards and the challenges this can bring. We want to work with your team to facilitate reflective practice so that staff can better understand the impact of their working environment and learn tools to allow them to process difficult emotions and be more present with the people be cared for.
Workshop are also available that equip carers with the skills and awareness to use music in the personal and everyday care of the people in care.
Dementia Care Mapping (DCM) in dementia care sites on which Arash is practicing Music Therapy. DCM is a NICE recognised tool that can allow the care team to form a deeper understanding of the day to day experience of someone who is living with dementia, so that a higher quality of person-centred care can be offered. Information from the DCM assessments feedback into the work being done in Music Therapy and the general care of the individual.
